Permit cost?
Permit cost is extra on the transport cost. For all restricted area domestic and foreign tourists have to obtain a Special Permit in Sikkim. For cost of the permit you need to call our customer care or you need to send us mail at bhaichungb@gmail.com
For which destination in Sikkim Special Permit is required?
For Changu Lake and all tourist destination in North Sikkim Special permit is required.
What are the documents Required for the Permit?
Pass Port 2- Ration Card 3 - Voter Card 4 Adhar Cards 5 - Driving License. For Children Birth Certificate and 4 pass port size photo is required. For Foreign tourist - Pass Port visa and Sikkim Inner Line permit and 4 Passport size photo is required.
How do I get permit for Nathula Pass Trip?
For Nathula Special permit is required the following document is required :
Pass Port 2 - Ration Card 3 - Voter Card 4 Adhar Cards 5 - Driving License. For Children Birth Certificate and 4 pass photos is required. Royalty of the state Government is extra on the transport cost.
Do I get complete refund? Are there any refund charges?
We reserve the right to determine if a refund is appropriate and the appropriate amount of any refund. However, if we decide that a refund is appropriate, we normally expect to refund the entire amount of you payment.
How do I get my refund if unforeseen circumstances happen?
Inspite of advance bookings, in case of unforeseen circumstances like natural calamities or manmade situations such as strikes and road blockages the guests will need to pay the extra cost included for any diversions or other arrangements.
What if my Hotel is away from the main town what will be the extra charges?
A charge for transfer to hotel is also included in the price within 2 kms radius from the main town. However hotels far away from the main town will attract additional charges payable by the guest at the time of travel directly to the driver.
How can we book and make the payment? Which all bank you have the account?
You can book our services by paying advance.
The advance includes 60% of the cost and is mandatory for confirming your trip.
The remaining balance is paid before arrival. You can also do so on the day you arrive.
Please note that your bookings will not get confirmed until the payment gets processed. Once it does, it is recommended you email and notify us. Also, you can carry copies of this proof (that you have paid the fees) with you, to avoid any misunderstandings.
The mode of payment can include wire transfer (NEFT/RTGS/SWIFT), cheques or even intercity deposits (however, transaction charges may apply).Soon we will add a payment gateway, through this you can make payments by Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners), Netbanking, Debit Cards and IT Cash.

What will Potters charge?
Rs.10/- per bag each way at Bagdogra, Biratnagar & Bhadrapur Airport / NJP Rly Station
What will be the waiting charges?
Waiting Charge Rs. 500/- per hour for Coach. Rs 400 for luxury SUV. Rs 350 for Regular SUV and Rs 250 /- per hour for small vehicles.
What will happen if the vehicles break down?
In case of breakdown if vehicle break downs within the radius of 50Km of any major town we will replace the vehicle in 2hrs time. Or vehicles advance money shall be refunded.
What will be the extra charge if the No of person exceed?
You have to inform us 24hr in Advance if it's a pick up and drop in- case of tour you need to inform us 1 week in advance. There will be no extra charges if the capacity of vehicle is not exceeding. Which is for small car 4pax, Luxury SUV 7 Pax and Non Luxury 9Pax. If the extra person exceeds more the capacity of vehicle then you have to take one more extra transport.
Can I reserve a specific model of car?
We always note your preference while you book a car and make every effort to meet your preference. However, it is sometimes difficult to guarantee a particular model. In case you do not get your preferred choice, you will receive a car within the same car category.
Who pays for the cost of fuel?
The cost of fuel/oil is included in the total transport rate provided by Sikkim Taxi Services.
What extra charges do I need to pay?
Extra Sightseeing point not mention in the itinerary, late night drop to the hotel after personal visit or work and any other usages not mention at the time of bookings.
Can I cancel my booking?
All the booked tickets can be cancelled online except for the ticket which was booked by cash on delivery payment option. Cancellation of booking is possible by calling our customer service number + 91 - 8001244337 / + 91 - 96205-75635
Just follow these steps :
Call our Customer service number.
Tell them name and phone Number along with the e-mail ID that was provided at the time of booking.
Tell them to cancel the booking.
Your ticket will be cancelled within minutes and the status will be updated in My Booking.
The Cancellation charges are based on the following things :

Yes, sure you can reschedule your booking. The charges which you will have to pay will be based on your cancellation time period and fee.
When will I receive the vehicle and driver details?
We will sms the vehicle number and driver details 2 to 4 hours prior to your departure time. In case you do not receive the same, pls call the customer care number + 91 - 8001244337 / + 91 - 96205-75635
Do I have to pay the entire amount at the time of booking?
No. You need to make an advance of 20% of the total amount at the time of booking and rest of the payment on arrival at our office.
Are there any other charges that I have to pay?
The charges indicated in our website are the basic charges for renting a car from a particular operator type/operator.
What are the charges included in the cost?
Tolls, parking charges of air port and all the sightseeing places mention in the itinerary, driver's daily allowance is included in the itinerary.
If a car doesn't reach a pickup point or is late, what do I do?

What will happen in case my flight gets delayed? Will the chauffeur wait for me? Will I be charged?
Yes, the Chauffeur would wait for you in case of flight delay. However waiting charges would be applicable.
How do I settle the balance after my journey?
Post the completion of your trip, the chauffeur will calculate the amount you owe him. You may have this verified from our customer care centre as well in case you have doubts/queries regarding the same. There are 2 modes available for settlement 1. Please deduct the advance amount that you have paid Sikkim Taxi Services from this and pay him the balance amount in cash to the driver/chauffeur for which he will give you a receipt.
